Contrast: is an exploration of the language of “quality”. Quality is not always just about using an expensive material. The finger joint incorporates two contrasting materials (plywood and walnut) together through a consistent language. Project goal was to make a coffee table for under $100 US, final cost was around $98 US. Project tasks included: Concept development, Drawings and Execution of built finish piece (starting with raw lumber).
